Who makes StackyBase
StackyBase is made by Aipops, a small Danish company (CVR 34940088). Write to hello@stackybase.com and a person answers, in Danish or English. Aipops also makes Daily Tracker, a private training log, and YesterKeep, a private iPhone app — all built on the same idea: your data stays yours, on your own device.
How it started
It began with my girlfriend's work. She needed a simple way to keep projects and tasks straight — and there was no tool at her workplace that actually helped. We looked at Jira, and at the other usual suspects. They were not bad companies. They were just too much tool for the job: sprints, workflows, fields you never asked for, a week of setup before you could write down what was due on Tuesday.
What we wanted was closer to a notebook and a whiteboard than to enterprise software. A board you understand in thirty seconds. A task that can be a line, a deadline, a pasted email, a file. Your own folder on your own computer — so the work still exists if the product does not.
That became Your Stack, and then StackyBase: the same idea for people who are already busy, and who should not need a project-management degree to stay organised.
